This example shows a more complicated particle simulation, involving gravity, position, velocity, and acceleration. A number of particles are launched along the Z axis (with some random variation) and experience an initial acceleration for a brief period of time. After a delay, the particles begin to grow and change color. There is also a small chance that a particle will split into two. The simulation is automatically stopped once all particles have fallen below the XY plane. Click the Reset button to get a new random initial condition.
